The first known written reports on the aloe vera plant reach as far back as 6,000 years ago. The aloe vera plant was sacred, as it produced a liquid that held secrets to beauty, health, and immortality. In modern times, not much has changed in our view of this succulent. Aloe is a proven skin softener and natural anti-aging agent. It is a fantastic addition for practically any formulation.
Generally speaking, most aloe products tend to be water-soluble. This version of Aloe Vera Infused Oil is oil-soluble, meaning the aloe was extracted into a carrier oil base. We use a cold process infusion and never heat treat, nor do we use chemicals or solvents as an extraction method. We infuse certified organic aloe vera leaf into certified organic extra virgin olive oil and then allow time to perform its magic. The result is a carrier oil packed with the natural benefits of aloe vera!
Please note that our Aloe Vera Infused Oil will hold the typical strong scent and natural green color associated with cold pressed olive oil.
The product listed here is not the same as aloe vera gel or aloe juice. Those are water-soluble forms of aloe which we do sell, under separate listings.
