100% Pure Calendula officinalis (calendula) essential oil.
This natural plant oil is steam distilled from the common calendula flower. It contains no other ingredients or fillers. Calendula essential oil can be added to any formulation where the scent and therapeutic value of calendula is desired. Specifically good in any product designed for the face or hair.
This Calendula Essential Oil holds a deep woodsy scent with a hint of floral. Blends well with floral and citrus essential oils.
To make a simple calendula oil makeup remover: you would add about 4 drops to a 1/4 cup carrier oil, shake well and store in an airtight bottle. Use a cotton ball to apply and do not rinse off.
As with all essential oils, dilute into carrier oils before applying them directly onto the skin. Keep oils away from eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. Stop using if there is any irritation. Research each oil well before using. Some oils cannot be used by those with certain health conditions.
