Description
This product is created through a complex processing of castor oil and hydrogen, to create Castor Wax Flakes. It is not a stand-alone emulsifying agent, it does needs to be added in conjunction with other waxes to create a harmonious blend between other oils and water, however it imparts stability and skin conditioning benefits.
We recommend working Castor Wax Flakes into any formulation that needs a “body” boost, like a thin lotion perhaps. Add with your oil phase. Use at any ratio of your choice.
If you make deodorant bars, lotion sticks, lip balms, salves, lip stick, hair pomades: castor wax flakes will impart the conditioning benefits as well as provide a binding state that will give your product a smooth texture and “balmy” texture.
These flakes are nearly white with just a hint of creamy color. They have a faint scent, if any.
