Cedar Tips are used in home crafting projects, ceremonial or incense burning, and some topical applications. Cedar tips were often used by Native Americans for their ability to treat topical skin issues like fungus of the nails.
If you wish to extract the benefits into your beauty care recipe, simply steep these leaves in either oil or water, very much like you would a tea … once it has “released” then strain and use the retained portion inside your formulations. Though some do use cedar for internal use, we recommend it only for topical / external use.
Cultivation: Wild harvested. This means that this plant material was found in areas that were not from a farmed plantation, most often well away from highly populated areas, making it an extremely nil risk of being chemically treated. In our opinion wild harvested products are sometimes better than organic, because it was grown entirely by nature without the intervention of mankind.
INCI: Thuja plicata (Cedar) leaves
