Coconut Powder, also called coconut flour, can be used in baking as a straight across the board replacer for standard flour. The benefits you receive from this switch? You’ll be adding extra fiber and protein to your baked good, it’s easier to digest than wheat flours are, it will impart a slightly sweet and very mild coconut flavor to your finished baked good, and best of all – it’s gluten-free!
To use in your cosmetics — try incorporating some of this coconut powder into your bath salts or milk bath formulations. Its vegan approved and will impart a skin-softening benefit without having to use a milk-based ingredient. Also an A+ additive for facial mud or clay masks!
