This extra coarse grain Demerara Sugar is THE BEST to use in body scrub recipes. It provides a top-of-the-line exfoliant with the bonus of being skin softening as well. Its beautiful amber color is stunning … and because it’s a coarse grain sugar, it doesn’t “melt” easily in recipes.
If you are looking to use this product in baked goods, consider using it as a topping for sugar cookies, muffins and pies. It’s not an overly sweet sugar, rather, I think it tastes a lot like good quality honey!
This Demerara comes from a Fair Trade facility and is considered “raw” meaning it has not been chemically processed.
