Lemon Verbena Essential Oil Replacer is a compound essential oil blend designed to replicate the scent of lemon verbena at a fraction of the cost. Because of this, it holds a similar scent to Lemon Verbena but is slightly less earthy and contains more lemony notes. If you love citrus based and Lemon Verbena tones, you will love this blend! It is fabulous in soaps – both cold process and melt & pour.
NOTE:
Pure Lemon Verbena Essential Oil is hard to obtain in bulk and is extremely costly. Due to these two factors, when buying an oil called pure lemon verbena one must be careful that the INCI name matches what is in the bottle. Typically speaking lemongrass and other similar smelling EO’s are cut together then overpriced and sold to customers. True lemon verbena sells for around $70 an ounce. If you’ve found “a deal” on this oil, it’s most likely an overpriced blend.
Lemon Verbena Essential Oil Replacer contains 60% verbena officinalis and a 40% proprietary blend of other lemon and citrus-based essential oils. We guarantee this to be a 100% essential oil blend. No synthetics are used and all oils are processed by steam distillation.
