This Litsea Cubeba Essential Oil smells like a combination of lemons & oranges, and when I sniff it — it reminds me of marmalade, this all makes sense when one realizes that it’s from the lemongrass family. For topical application, it’s noted that Litsea Cubeba Essential Oil holds similar actions to lemongrass, but it’s considered milder in therapeutic benefits.
It makes an excellent addition to facial care products that are intended for acne or oily skin issues. It gently assists with cleansing, removing bacteria and soothing inflamed skin.
Beneficial Actions: Antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, deodorant, disinfectant, and insecticidal.
Cultivation: This product is wild harvested. Meaning that this plant material was found in areas that were not from a farmed plantation. Most often located well away from highly populated areas, making it an extremely nil risk of being chemically treated. In our opinion, wild harvested products are sometimes better than organic, because it was grown entirely by nature without the intervention of mankind.
