From the common raspberry plant, comes one powerful leaf! Packed with antioxidant benefits that apply to both topical and internal applications. You can use these leaves to make a drinkable tea that is noted to be one of the best ingredients for “women’s issues.” It’s also pleasant tasting – very similar to black tea (no caffeine though). Or you can use it topically within your beauty care formulations for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, cleansing, and or skin toning benefits. To use topically, simply follow the same pattern as if you were making tea and use the steeped water as part of your ingredients within your recipe.
Just a note about the appearance of this herb. It’s ugly and looks a bit wrong. But hey, nature knows what it was doing when it made this ugly leaf. Give it a try!
