This Rhassoul Clay is mined from deep within the mountains of Morocco and is used in the finest spas for skin nourishing facial and body packs.
Rhassoul Clay makes a great addition to melt & pour as well as cold process soap recipes, or it can be used directly on your skin as a facial or body mask. Simply add water (or another wet agent), mix to a creamy paste and apply it to the skin. Once it has set, rinse with warm water. Another great idea for this clay is to simply add it to your bath water and use as a soaking aide. Clay is naturally “pulling” and cleansing, so as you soak, it will soften your skin, and remove impurities from your pores.
The clay is composed of: silica, magnesium, potassium and calcium.

Please note that naturally occurring clays cannot be “certified organic” in the USA. The term “organic” is reserved for items that are grown in a field under organic supervision. Our Rhassoul is 100% pure, with no added fillers – but since it doesn’t meet the FDA’s requirement of being field grown, it is not certifiable. If it were possible, we would have this item marked as organic. It can, however, be sold as 100% natural.
