Based off our original formulation, with some added in veggie heroes for extra moisture making this version suitable for normal to dry hair types. Check out our additions:
- Rice Extract: Conditioning, hydrating and provides humidity protection.
- Broccoli Seed Oil: Absorbs quickly into the hair shaft, leaving a shiny luster behind.
- Alfalfa Boost: Added so you can nourish your roots like never before. This addition offers an efficient and sustainable approach promoting healthy hair growth.
Mild and gentle, this base contains no sulfates, alcohol or parabens. The suds-ing action is rich & creamy, making it extra kind to your scalp and hair. We’ve pH-balanced to 6 for those of you who are concerned about pH levels. This base is unscented so you can use it as-is or add your own essential / fragrance oils to create your own custom shampoo! When scenting, please remember to research all safety levels of essential oils.
Adding any additional water, butter, or oils may compromise the shelf life, and your own shelf-life testing would need to be completed. Oil-based additives will quickly reduce the lathering ability, water-soluble ingredients generally do not hinder lather but may need additional preservatives added to them before being incorporated into the base.
Please note that during the winter months this product may arrive cloudy, but as the product warms up naturally by simply allowing the container to rest a day or so in a normal room temperature room, it will clear up slightly. Store in a location at or above 65 degrees.
Lid Types:
We offer two types of lids for the 5 gallon size: one with no spout and one with spout. The spouted option features a 2-inch pull-up spout, making it easier to pour the product cleanly. The no-spout option contains a standard lid.

Ingredients: * Hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) hydrosol water, *Helichrysum italicum (helichrysum) hydrosol water, *Melaleuca Alternifolia (tea tree) hydrosol water, *Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) hydrosol water, decyl glucocide, lauryl glucocide, *vegetable glycerin, sodium alginate, rice extract, sodium lactate, alfalfa extract, broccoli seed oil, oat protein, dextrose, panthenol DL, xanthan gum, guar gum, propanediol (naturally derived preservative), ethylhexyl glycerin (naturally derived preservative), and potassium sorbate (food grade preservative).
