Goats Milk & Shea Butter Shower Gel – Unscented.
This rich & creamy, liquid soap brings you all the benefits of goat’s milk and shea butter in a “shower gel” form. It will leave your skin feeling soft and nourished. Whereas some naturally made soaps can be runny, ours is thick and will hold either essential or fragrance oils quite well!
We’ve formulated this Goats Milk & Shea Butter Shower Gel – Unscented soap base to be extra kind and gentle to the skin. This means it’s not an overly high-foaming soap, but using a washcloth, loofah, sea sponge, or a similar “foam building” aide, we feel that the lather is plentiful.
To scent: simply add your essential or fragrance oil directly to the cold soap, stir well – making sure you don’t create bubbles (otherwise the base will have to sit for a day or so until the bubbles settle out). Start with a small amount of scent and keep adding until you achieve the scent throw desired. Take good notes for next time!
Ingredients: Liquid goat’s milk, * Carthamus tinctorius (safflower oil), * Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), * Cocos nucifera (coconut oil), * Persea gratissima (avocado oil), * Elaeis guineensis (palm oil), and * Helianthus annuus (sunflower oil), ^ potassium hydroxide, ** sodium alginate.
(*) denotes a certified organic ingredient.
^ During the soap making process, the potassium hydroxide bonds to the oils to make soap and is an ingredient that is no longer found in the finished product. Please do not ask us to remove this ingredient, it is not possible. Without this ingredient, you cannot make this type of liquid soap.
(**) Sodium alginate is a thickening ingredient approved by the USDA organic certification program.
