We steam our Lemon Hydrosol Water from certified organic citrus limonum.
Lemon oil (the active ingredient in this hydrosol water) is known for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and fungicidal benefits. When Lemon Hydrosol Water is applied to the skin, in either skincare products or directly sprayed onto the face, these benefits are passed onto your skin. Hydrosol waters make great soothing and refreshing facial toners!
Scent/Scent Throw:
INCI: (unpreserved) Citrus limonum (lemon) hydrosol water.
INCI: (preserved) Citrus limonum (lemon) hydrosol water, propanediol, ethylhexyl glycerin, potassium sorbate.
Preservative Option:
This product will arrive 100% preservative-free unless you select to add the optional preservative when ordering.
Hydrosol waters are fragile, so it is our opinion that all hydrosol waters be preserved as close to the manufacture date as possible. Because of this, if they become contaminated, mold and bacteria can lead to serious health risks. A well-researched preservative is better than the risks of using/selling non-preserved ingredients.
Shelf Life:
Without the preservative, hydrosols have a 3-month shelf life when stored in the refrigerator or chilled location. For the preserved option, we urge you to use up the product within a year of the purchase or add it to a formulation that contains further preservatives.

Organic Certification:
The USDA only certifies agricultural ingredients. If you select ‘yes’ to add Linatural to extend the shelf life, then this item can no longer be considered a certified organic ingredient. Thus it will arrive to you without the certification seals on the label.
