100% Pure Myrrh Resinoid (Slightly Pourable). Resinoid’s are significantly thicker than essential oils. Because of this, you may need to slightly heat the product in order to be poured. You can also break them down by adding liquid essential oils for thinning purposes. Myrrh holds a delicate yet very beautiful scent throw. Its excellent for lightly scented perfumes and the scent is uplifting and positive! Blends very well with frankincense as well as other earthy and floral scents.
Myrrh oil contains high amounts of both eugenol and terpenoids. Eugenol is a common antiseptic and anesthetic agent found in mouthwashes, and topical tooth pain formulations. Terpenoids hold a valuable role in traditional Indian and Chinese medicines, and they’re also used in food as a flavoring agent.
As with all essential oils, dilute Myrrh Resinoid into carrier oils before applying them directly onto the skin. Keep oils away from eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. Stop using if there is any irritation. Research each oil well before using. Those with certain health conditions may need to avoid this oil.
