Plantain Infused Oil.
Plantain leaves contain high amount of allantoin which is natures bacteria inhibitor proven to help speed the process of healing minor wounds and inflamed skin. Plantain also contains vitamins A and C, as well as calcium. The Native Americans knew what they were doing when they would crush these leaves and apply their healing “juice” to relieve the pain of bee stings, insect bites, poison oak/ivy, and a whole host of other skin aliments.
Plantain Infused Oil also contains active constituents that hold antibacterial, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory benefits. Because of this, try adding this oil to any healing salves or topical oil blends designed to reduce inflammation.
We use a cold process infusion; we never heat treat our oils. We infuse organic plant material into a first pressed, organic extra virgin olive oil. Because of the type of oil we infuse into, there is the typical (strong) scent that is associated with cold pressed olive oil – so please take that into consideration when ordering this product.
