Myrrh Gum Resins.
Used for thousands of years, these sweet “tree” resins have held their own throughout history. Prized as a ground-up powder, extracted into perfumes for its intoxicating scent, and used for medical purposes such as skin care, respiratory issues, sore throat, digestive issues, and its cleansing benefits.
Often used in herbal healing salve recipes designed for cuts, burns, bruises, and the like. It can also be added to soaps and other cosmetic recipes such as toothpastes and mouthwashes designed to control infections. One thing we’ve noticed when working with this gum, it holds a cleansing and toning punch, especially when paired with its counter-balancer: frankincense! No wonder the Queens bathed in this stuff!
Shouldn’t be taken internally if pregnant.
Cultivation: Wild harvested. This means that this plant material was found in areas that were not from a farmed plantation, most often well away from highly populated areas, making it an extremely nil risk of being chemically treated. In our opinion, wild harvested products are sometimes better than organic, because it was grown entirely by nature without the intervention of mankind.
