Turmeric Essential Oil.
Turmeric has become an extremely popular additive to skincare products. The powder form can be added to face masques and it works quite well, but it does tend to lend a very strong yellow color which can temporarily stain the skin. Using a liquid version of this plant, helps to eliminate that issue. Turmeric is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral, making it a very popular choice for acne-prone skin.
Please note that this essential oil is still quite yellow in color, and does smell exactly like turmeric root powder, which to some may be less pleasant than others. Personally, I like its herbal scent!
As with all essential oils, dilute Turmeric Essential Oil into carrier oils before applying them directly onto the skin. Keep oils away from eyes and mucous membranes. Keep out of reach of children. Stop using if there is any irritation. Research each oil well before using. Some oils cannot be used by those with certain health conditions.
