This cut & sifted Feverfew herb is noted by the University of Maryland Medical Center to have been a part of a study where 270 people who suffered from chronic migraines were given Feverfew. 70% of the test base stated they felt better after a week of taking this herb on a daily basis. For this reason, feverfew is often added to teas that are designed for PMS headache relief. It is also used for “commonly occurring” migraine pain relief. Feverfew C/S is also anti-inflammatory. Many people have used this herb in a topical compress for the relief of skin inflammation and other external ailments of this nature.
To transfer the benefits of Feverfew into a water or oil base, simply steep this herb like you would a tea. Once it has “released” – then strain and use the retained juice as a portion within your recipe.
