Ginger is one of the best detoxifiers known to man. This quality makes Ginger Root Powder a useful ingredient when added to lotions, body sprays, or wraps designed to detoxify the skin layers and help improve blood circulation.
If you are making body wraps or anything topical not designed to be applied to the face: I suggest using ginger water as some or all of the wetting agent, work it into the clay or mud. This will help stimulate blood circulation. Do keep it at a fairly low ratio (1 to 2%) it can be “warming” on the skin.
